Seasonal living: South Peninsula an area to visit and reside in

In 2021, it is apparent that seasonal living is a priority for many. This month we’ll be showcasing our areas of operation which are the perfect places to vacation in or move to.

Springtime is upon us, bringing warmer weather and blooming flower fields. We can all start daydreaming about getting away or planning when to move closer to the coast. Many South Africans have chosen various destinations to spend their spring/summer holiday in. This week we’re highlighting the South Peninsula as a destination to consider residing in the spring/summer season or for quick weekend getaway.

Kommetjie is known for its quaint rural feel. As a part-time resident or visitor, you’ll enjoy the outdoor lifestyle and its natural beauty. This place offers clean air, peacefulness, and animal/bird life to immerse yourself in. For the ocean enthusiasts, there are coastal walks, surfing at the famous Long Beach and other water sports. The area has been transformed from a weekend getaway to a tight knit residential community.

Another destination in the South Peninsula is the beautiful Noordhoek. A picturesque suburb which offers a rural, relaxed lifestyle with a strong sense of community. Making it a safe destination to vacation or move to. It is located far enough from the city, but close enough to commute to it if needed. It offers the best of country living with its wide-open spaces, a beach spanning far beyond the eye can see and paddocks of grazing horses. There is a long list of great activities such as top restaurants, a local coffee roastery, bakery, live music from SA’s best artists and nearby shops, supermarkets, and schools.

Both the areas have so much to offer in terms of location and culture. Great investments for seasonal living or a vacation home.
